MY STORY
I createdMonica’s Cold Brew Tea because as a serious athlete I found it hard to find a sports drink that worked, and that I could feel good about putting into my body.
I wanted something that wouldn’t leave a bad aftertaste like some sports and energy drinks. I created a drink that could deliver in all the ways that mattered tome. It had to be caffeinated, hydrating, contain natural, healthy, and organic ingredients….ingredients my 5-year old could understand. I also wanted it to last for the entirety of your workout, whether 30 minutes or 2 hours like my own.
I’m a long distant and marathon runner, and for the last 13 years I do the Tracy Anderson Method, two hours a day, 6 days a week—so I created something that would support my body during endurance workouts. The TA method is in a 90-degree room, and nothing I drank was satisfying my thirst, so I started freezing my homemade tea and taking it to class. It melted slowly over the course of the workout, all the while, staying the right temperature. And honestly, it’s so good, you want it to last.
